I get pretty decent traffic on my blog, but always hope for more so I have just put the "follow me" button up. Hopefully some of the people who regularly read will join so we can communicate back and forth.. It sounds a little like an exercise in vanity but I don't care, just follow me, please.

Fitzroy Street, Fitzroy
Yesterday I took a little time and walked along one of my favourite streets, Fitzroy Street in Fitzroy. Its the first street north of Brunswick street and has a very interesting mix of old buildings, factories, pubs and houses. Of all the streets in Melbourne, this seems to really have a sense of history and the light yesterday helped a little also, it makes it feel a little like France, all filtered and kind of yellow.

After a number of months of back and forth I finally ditched my facebook account. I have this blog and myphoto website I don"t need silly pricks from small conservative mid western american cities requesting my so called "friendship". So now I have twitter, flickr, blog and site. I think that is enough. I truely hope that some of my facebook "friends" take a trip down the road not so travelled, or not.
